Malassez counting chamber

• The cell is composed by 100 rectangular fields
• Length = 0.25 mm / Width = 0.20 mm / Depth = 0.20 mm
• Total volume of the grid: 1 µl

We add a drop of the sample, diluted or non-diluted between the cell and the cover glass, and then we count the selected elements in the grid. The result is considered as elements par liter of liquid.
